Kapaḍā London, a modern take on unisex shirting for everyday wear.

Kapaḍā, which directly translates as ‘cloth’ from the Hindi language, champions time-honoured techniques and cool, comfortable style. 

We’ve launched with three contemporary styles of unisex oversized shirts (The Big Shirt) and two sets of women’s pyjama (The Big Sleep). All pieces are made from the softest, organically dyed Indian cotton voile designed to stand the test of time.

The fabrics are hand block-printed or dyed by artisans in Jaipur using techniques that have been passed down through generations. Then they travel across state lines to our friend ‘The Tailor’ who we have worked tirelessly with to create our first collection.

No factories, no harmful chemicals; just traditional methods and hard work. We strongly believe in supporting small, local businesses and ensuring a holistic and fair supply chain.

Our pieces can be dressed up or down - just as easily worn under formal tailoring as they are for hitting the beach. They are trans-seasonal and timeless.

A big part of our environmental responsibility lies in the multi-functionality of our product and this, along with quality and comfort, is a cornerstone of our business.
